A month and a day ago, Maymay Entrata was named as the latest winner of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), and truth be told, a lot has changed in the life of the “Wacky-go-lucky ng Cagayan de Oro.” Earlier today, One Music PH got the chance of having a quick chat with Maymay, and we immediately asked for her two cents on the “Baliw” craze that made the song top charts.
Eh karamihan sa mga Pilipino ngayon mahilig sa pag-ibig (At first I was really surprised because I didn’t expect the fans going crazy over my song so I’m really happy that the song I wrote was received well…While the lyrics I compose are simple, they go right through the heart because I’ve also experienced falling in love. And a lot of Filipinos are fond of love),” Maymay shared.

When asked about her music listening habits, Maymay said that she doesn’t have a regular playlist. I love to sing, I love writing songs, but I’m not very much into listening to music. I like a song when I like it, but I don’t stick to one song because I get over it quickly),” Maymay said frankly.
There is one song, however, that Maymay loves listening to at the moment. (I was touched by Bruno Mars’ cover of [All I Ask]. I really felt the emotions in the lyrics when he performed it).”

While at it, One Music PH also asked Maymay what she thinks of holding a digital concert of her own. Her response isn’t quite surprising. “Siyempre! (Of course! Who would say no to that kind of opportunity?)” Maymay said with laughter.
And when we pressed her who she would want to share the stage with, her choices are formidable. “Yeng Constantino, Toni Gonzaga, Sarah [Geronimo.] Kung silang tatlo, patay, diyos ko (I think I’ll just backup for Sarah G if it happens. With the three of them, oh my God).”
Of course, Maymay also expressed gratitude to the many people who’ve supported her since the beginning of her PBB stint. Parang binigyan pa nila ako ng bonggang bonggang motivation para gawin yung isang bagay na kahit mahirap gagawin mo kasi alam mong maraming ma-i-inspire doon (I just want to say that I’m really happy that I have their support whatever happens. All my efforts are worth it because I see them happy. All I can say is thank you so much because without you I won’t be able to continue my journey. I won’t have perseverance without you. I’m truly motivated to do well even though it’s challenging because I know many can be inspired with my success),” Maymay said with sincerity.
And with the enormous support of many powering Maymay, the cheerful young lady from Cagayan de Oro surely has a lot in store for everyone in the near future. We all better watch out!

It may seem that Karlos is out of place in One Music PH because he’s someone who can’t live without sports. Until of course, he realized that he is equally passionate with music as well. He may not admit it just yet, but Karlos loves Davie Bowie very much. Oh, and he runs a barbershop too.
