Last Sunday, August 6, some of the finest Filipino music artists came together to be a part of One Music PH’s special benefit concert entitled “One Music Live: Awit Para Sa Marawi” which aims to help out the people affected by the conflict in the city of Marawi.
The said music event was graced by an impressive collection of talents indeed, and one of the artists who drew much attention was Maris Racal who performed a soulful rendition of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” with the help of One Music PH’s very own Volts Vallejo. The special cover is an interesting take on the 80’s classic with Maris’ soft voice and Volts’ acoustic guitar prowess blending for a soothing sound.
The night before Awit Para Sa Marawi, Maris and the other half of MarNigo, Inigo Pascual drew enormous praise from television viewers as they featured in the latest episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya. But last Sunday night, it was all about music (and the people of Marawi, of course), and Maris definitely showed why she’s one of the most versatile young artists in the Philippines today.
We don’t have to say it again because we think you already know that more is yet to come from Maris, so you better keep tuned in. Because Maris’ music career is fast rising!

It may seem that Karlos is out of place in One Music PH because he’s someone who can’t live without sports. Until of course, he realized that he is equally passionate with music as well. He may not admit it just yet, but Karlos loves Davie Bowie very much. Oh, and he runs a barbershop too.
