It was another fun-filled trip with Migz Haleco in our latest episode of Wander Jam with Migz yesterday, as #Hashtag member Ronnie Alonte joined Migz for an adventure in the Wander Van!
The pair ventured into Quezon City looking for students who needed a ride to school for their Libreng Sakay mission. While navigating the busy streets, Migz asked Ronnie about his life as a student.
“Noong college ako, nag-TVC na ako,” he shared. “Dati sa school feel na feel ko kasi pagka may commercial ako, feeling ko artista ako.” He even shared some of his experiences while commuting, both good and bad.
The Wander Van eventually settled in a spot to wait for passengers, where Migz found three students who were on their way to U-Belt and offered them a ride.
On the way there, Migz asked them about their struggles while commuting. All of them answered that it’s difficult due to the traffic, with their travel times sometimes reaching up to two hours. When Migz asked them about how they felt about the higher fare, one of the students replied, “Hindi na po bago ‘yon. Lahat naman nag-mamahal,” which earned a lot of laughter from everyone in the van.
The whole discussion even led Ronnie to comment, “Nakaka-miss kaya pumasok. Gusto ko ulit mag-aral.” What did he miss the most about being a student? Ronnie answered, “‘Yong mga kaklase mo na lagi mong nakakasama.”
As they made their was through the Metro Manila traffic, they group jammed to the Eraserheads classic, “Overdrive,” with everyone (yes, everyone) sang along.
The rest of the trip included a discussion of Ronnie’s transition to showbiz, another jam session where Ronnie led with #Hashtag hit, “Road Trip,” as well as a Q&A portion with students from TIP.
