KZ Tandingan continued to reign Soul Supreme in 2021. She dominated a very strong and diverse field of new songs on Himig 11th Edition with her un-"kabogable" interpretation of "Marupok", the Dana Balagtas-penned tongue-in-cheek, vibe-y empowerment song.

She then became the voice of Disney's first Filipino language song "Gabay" from the film Raya and the Last Dragon.

She breathed new life in the electronica and symphonic reinterpretation of the Agsunta hit song "Bagong Umaga".

She then displayed her singing voice in "Dodong", her Visayan song that she wrote and dedicated to her husband TJ Monterde. One really doesn't need to understand Visayan to feel the power of KZ's singing and the emotions she poutred out in the song.

It was only a matter of time before she tested international waters, and she finally did it in 2022 with her single "11:59", with that silky, James Bond-worthy-ish musical arrangement.

KZ Tandingan continued to make leaps and bounds in 2021, and we can't be excited enough for what she has in store this 2022.
