It is perhaps agreeable to everyone that we live the entirety of our lives consuming music. From childhood to adulthood we always listen to songs. Interestingly enough, the way we consume music reveals so much about ourselves, and whether you like it or not, it reflects our age. And when you reach that veteran status in life, there are just some habits and characteristics you can't avoid. If you want to verify whether you've become a Tito of Manila, here's a quick list to consult from.
1. You don’t go to the mosh pit during concerts anymore
Admit it, there was a time when you braved the waves and waves of fellow concertgoers just to get as close as possible to the stage, and maximize your concert experience by jumping up and down wildly with your pals like there’s no tomorrow. However, a time will come when you prefer to enjoy a concert (probably a long overdue reunion of your favorite band) in the comfort of that soft chair in the VIP area because you know that extra energy can be used for something else – like buying a heavy duty drill. If this is the case with you right now, then you’re probably a Tito of Manila already.

2. You own a vinyl player
With almost every music lover these days consuming their favorite tracks using the latest mobile devices, there will come a point in your life when going old school gives you a different kind of musical satisfaction. A great example is to own a vinyl player. And there are two reasons why having one makes you a Tito: you can afford buying one on your own, and you’re old enough to know why owning a vinyl player is worth it.

3. You don’t use the Musical.ly app or have no idea what it is
Do you know what the Musical.ly app is? If yes, then you could still argue your way out of being called a Tito. If the answer is no, then welcome to the Tito of Manila club.

4. You got to know Will Smith as a rapper
Will Smith is one of the greatest living actors on the planet today. But during his younger years, he pursued a career in music with equal passion as his acting career. And if you still remember a hit or two from his rapping days, then you’re most definitely a Tito now.
5. When someone mentions LANY, you think it’s a brand of shoes or something else entirely
The American three-piece alternative band LANY is one of the most adored music acts today by giving the world of music hits such as “ILYSB” and “Super Far.” But if you’re clueless as to what these songs are, and mistaken the talented band as a brand of outdoor shoes, then it is with a heavy heart we tell you that you’re a certified Tito of Manila.
How many from the list applies to you? Are you a certified Tito of Manila already? Comment below!
It may seem that Karlos is out of place in One Music PH because he’s someone who can’t live without sports. Until of course, he realized that he is equally passionate with music as well. He may not admit it just yet, but Karlos loves Davie Bowie very much. Oh, and he runs a barbershop too.
