Despite attendees half-expecting a somber night care of I Belong to the Zoo’s tracks, it was all smiles as Argee Guerrero himself greeted fans and friends who came to SaGuijo Bar and Café for his much-awaited album launch.
Aptly titled “A Night with I Belong to the Zoo and Friends,” the crowd was treated to special sets by Autotelic’s Josh Villena, Mayonnaise, Kai Honasan and Eco del Rio, TheSunManager, Tom’s Story, and Reese Lansangan.

Soon enough, it was Argee’s turn to take the stage as his musical solo project ‘I Belong to the Zoo.’ With favorites like “Porter,” “Pity Party” and “Ruin” (which featured Reese Lansangan on vocals), there were a couple of tears – expected, if you’ve ever heard I Belong to the Zoo’s songs – but the sadness brought about by the tracks was balanced out by Argee’s playful spiels and ribbing from friends and fans in attendance.
