Angeline Quinto's newest album, @LoveAngelineQuinto, is comprised of a few remakes and several original songs including her latest single "At Ang Hirap," composed by Yeng Constantino, and "Paano Ba Ang Huwag Kang Mahalin," composed by Darla Sauler.
At the media launch of the Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs' latest release, held on Thursday, January 26, OneMusicPH was able to catch a snippet of songs include in the album including Darla's composition.
Producer Jonathan Manalo shared a brief history behind it.
"Sabi ni Darla, mayroon daw siyang sinulat na kanta and she thought of Angeline na makakapag-interpret nung song," he said. "Sabi ko, halika, try natin." ( Darla said she composed a song and she thought of Angeline to interpret it)
"Eto na siya, at tanungin niyo siya (Darla) kung ano'ng hugot niya sa song na 'to kasi ang ganda talaga although masakit siya because it's about letting go."
(Here's Darla, ask her what's her inspiration for this song becuse it's really beautiful although it hurts because it's about letting go)
"Tinanong ko rin si Ate Darla pero ayaw niyang ikwento," said Angeline. "Pakinggan niyo na lang ang song."
(I also asked Darla but she doesn't want to tell the story, so just listen to it)
It was in June last year when we first reported about it and finally, it's already out.
The song, as well as the full album titled after Angeline's username on Instagram, will be available at online music stores in a few days.
Meanwhile, physical copies of the album, which also features "Para Bang, Para Lang," composed by Angeline herself, and another song written by Yeng Constantino, is already available in leading record bars nationwide.
