J-Hope daringly declares he desires “MORE” on much-anticipated new solo single. The BTS member put-out the pre-release single from his future full-length album Jack in the Box on Friday. The song is currently #3 Trending on YouTube with over 16.4 million views on YouTube in less than a day.
The mojo-bursting track has J-Hope trifling with a more sinister, moodier sound that mixes alt-rock hooks with sick, dope hip-hop beats. “I’m doing it all,” he proclaims on the release’s mesmerizing refrain. The song is a good indicator of how much he’s matured as an artist.
Jack in the Box, slated for release on July 15, is the rapper’s first non-mixtape record — and will be the first solo album from a member of the record-breaking kpop outfit since releasing their anthology release Proof and announcing that they will go on hiatus to pursue solo projects.
