As part of the celebration of their 15th anniversary, OPM band Callalily has opened a venue for aspiring songwriters for their talents to be put on spotlight.
Callalily celebrates 15th anniversary
With its launch in May, the 'Callalily: Open Collab,' an online-based songwriting competition, aims to find the best original compositions from amateur songwriters all over the country that the band could turn into one of their next singles.
Online screenings of entries from eight participants (divided into two batches) already took place and were streamed live. The hopefuls performed their pieces as the band members listened and served as judges.
'Callalily: Open Collab' is still on-going and while the results are yet to be announced, Callalily assures fans that they will be treated with new, fresh songs later this year. One of which will be from the competition.
