Singer-songwriter Johnoy Danao is going all out for his birthday by dropping the second and final chapter of his "Troubadour Tales" EP!
This latest follow up has three wistful tracks titled "Harbour Bridge," "Goodbye," and "Do It All," the last one featuring fellow acoustic singer-songwriter, Clara Benin, and was written by Anna San Juan and Johnoy's wife, Grace Urrutia Danao.
Upon release of Troubadour Tales: Chapter 2, Johnoy reflected on each track in a series of tweets:
It’s been four years since we lost her—all so sudden and without warning.— johnoy danao (@johnoydanao) June 26, 2019
I’ll always wonder if there‘s anything more I could’ve done.
This is an ode for the ‘goodbye’ I was never given the chance to have.https://t.co/jAmAhXS06D
All my songs are personal, and this one is no different.— johnoy danao (@johnoydanao) June 26, 2019
This was penned by my wife during the longest time we’d been apart.
Could be a song for your roadtrips.
Or when you’re wishing to be elsewhere.https://t.co/0KFZhCHv8O
