When Filipinos think of Pampanga, they usually conjure up images of sisig, longganisa, and the best pansit luglug in the world. However, what people don’t normally think of when they imagine Pampanga is hot springs, waterfalls, or even adventure for that matter.
However, in a recent episode of Wander Jam featuring Ryle Santiago, he guested Chocolate Factory, a reggae band proudly born and raised in North Luzon. And the best place to bring them was, obviously, in a place they were all familiar with: Puning Hot Spring in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Puning Hot Spring, true to its name, has numerous hot springs of varying degrees of heat, from the hottest at around 70 degrees Celsius, to a relatively cooler 25 degrees Celsius. However, more than the hot springs, the resort also offers guests a chance to travel around the base of Mt. Pinatubo in an ATV (All-Terrain Vehicles) or a jeepney.
Oh, and another service they offer is burying you in hot sand, which many tout as having healing properties and seems to be very relaxing.
Overall, the resort offered our musical guests a chance to relax, eat great food, bond with and get to know each other better, and of course, inject a bit of adventure into their stay.
Check out the resort for yourself, and tell us what you think—because the boys of Chocolate Factory and even Ryle Santiago himself seemed to love it!
