One of the most exciting things about ‘Himig Handog’ has just happened — the reveal of this year’s interpreters.
On Friday, July 26, Star Music unveiled those who will give life to the top 12 entries of ‘Himig Handog 2019.’ Some are first-timers, while some are very familiar faces in the competition.
Among the newbies in ‘Himig’ are I Belong To The Zoo who will interpret “Ingat,” Alexzandra for “Alaala,” Justin Vasquez for “Isa Pang Ikaw,” Eamarie for “Ikaw at Linggo,” Vanya Castor for “Paano Ba,” TJ Monterde for “Panandalian,” Joan Da for “Sasabihin Ko,” Janine Berdin for “Sa ‘yong Mundo.”
While it’s his first time to become an interpreter, Davey Langit, who will sing “Simula Ng Dulo,” is a champion of Best Song in 2016 through his entry “Dalawang Letra,” interpreted by Itchyworms.
Old-timers, meanwhile, are Alex Gonzaga who will interpret the entry “Please Lang,” Janella Salvador for “Nung Tayo Pa,” and Daniel Padilla and Moira dela Torre who will collaborate for “Mabagal.”
Now, everyone is looking forward to hear the full tracks as well as their live performances.
