DNA Music proudly announces the release of Kervin Kane's rendition of "Ulahi Na Ang Pagbasol Ko", a classic Cebuano ballad originally written by Max Surban and popularized by Evelyn Bacarra. The song is about a heartbroken love affair being likened to a withering flower. The song is given a fiery pop-rock flavor by Cebu City's own Kervin Kane. It's produced by Ryan Sarmiento (6Cyclemind/Banda ni Kleggy) at Backdoor Recording Studio.
For proof of how poetic this song is, check out this rough translation of one of the verses:
"Nahisama ako sa bulak nga larag – "I am like a flower in the garden
Dahon nangalaya dihay nangatagak – Leaves withered there fell
May adlaw pa kaha kanaku mosubang – Maybe one day I will rise
Sa langit ko na lang isalig ang tanan" – Only in heaven can I trust everything"
