Months after the successful release of her debut album, "See Me," Kiana Valenciano's confidence has grown immensely, and her talent truly something special.
So special in fact, that she was nominated as one of the most promising female recording artists of the year by the McM Rising Stars Awards for her success in the global arena.
This award falls as part of the McM Cares Programme, which is the corporate social responsibility arm of the McMillan Woods Global Awards. The program provides a platform for young talents, such as Kiana.
According to an email from her mom, Angeli P. Valenciano, they were informed of her nomination on the day itself! It turns out Kiana's talent was discovered during her performance at Asian TV Awards in Malaysia in January, where many people in the media fell in love with her musical style and stage presence.
The awards ceremony for the McMillan Woods Global Awards will be taking place this Saturday, April 19th.
Congratulations on the nomination, Kiana! Wishing you the best of luck during the awarding!
