Kiana Valenciano has just signed a new recording deal with Tarsier Records, a sub-label of ABS-CBN’s Star Music.
On Wednesday, July 17, Kiana inked the contract by the presence of her manager and mother Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, Star Music audio content head Jonathan Manalo, Tarsier Records head Chris Lopez, and ABS-CBN Music head Roxy Liquigan.
Lopez proudly announced that Tarsier’s sights are set on levelling up with having Kiana on internationally-produced tracks, as well as border-crossing promotions and events aiming not only to expand her reach but to let her music take Filipino talent to heights that it has never been before.
Kiana said she is more than grateful for having such opportunity.
On taking the next step going international, Kiana believes that “it’s time.”
In fact, this August 20, she is set to share a stage with English singer-songwriter Mahalia as part of her Manila tour.
It was 2017 when Kiana first signed with Tarsier. That brought her to releasing an EP called “Grey” and her debut album “See Me.”
Early this year, she was recognized as the Most Promising Female Recording Artist of the Year by the McMillan Woods Global Awards.
Kiana is the first female artist to take on the milestone, while Tarsier’s second from the roster, following Inigo Pascual.
