Attending a Coldplay concert remains a dream for Filipino fans as rumors of the band performing in the country have still been unconfirmed. And while a livestream of Coldplay’s Los Angeles concert a couple of days ago brought the fans closer to the “A Head Full of Dreams” tour, one lucky Filipino fan got the chance to see them in person. That fan is none other than AlDub’s Maine Mendoza, who says Coldplay is her favorite band – and she proved it by writing this impressive caption:

While she posted her happiness and excitement on Twitter and Instagram, celebrity hairstylist Celeste Tuveria also posted a short video of Maine crying as Coldplay performed “Yellow.” It looks like the concert was a rollercoaster of emotions for Maine – and we can’t blame her! We bet Pinoy fans would shed a couple of tears just upon hearing that Coldplay has touched Manila soil.

There have been numerous reports that confirm the band is coming to Manila soon, but we’ve learned to hold our breath until we see it on an official poster or on their official website -- but it wouldn't hurt to save up for a ticket in the meantime! Currently, their tour will see them perform in the United States until early September, and then New Zealand and Australia in December. Could they be visiting us as a Christmas gift, or could an early 2017 date be in the works? (Check out that tab that says “Australasia” on the right, too!)
