Welcome back to another serving of New For You, where we put a spotlight on new artists in the local music scene regardless of genre, platform, label, or popularity. So whether you’re into pop, funk, RnB, hip-hop, rock, or anything under the sun, we’ve got you covered!
It’s simple: you make music, we share it. ... Every other Wednesday.
This week, we share songs with titles that speak to us—literally. Check out this week’s featured artists below!
Chael
Chael started writing songs after learning to play the guitar at 14, which became his outlet after a series of unfortunate events. They say that inspiration hits after hardship, which speaks true in this case. Fast forward to the present, and Chael's already a released a self-titled EP filled with songs that really come from the heart.
Listen to our pick, “You Say To Me You’re Sorry” below:

Lucid Moon
This indie band from Taytay is relatively new to the scene, but their sound is already so refined that it’s hard to believe that they’ve only been performing together since 2018! The band—Sheikha on vocals, Lian on drums, Rex on bass, Deesan on rhythm guitar, Airron also on vocals, and Gerson on lead guitar—doesn’t let their youth distract from their artistic abilities. That being said, listen to their debut track “Ang Labo Mo Naman” to see what we mean.

Eloisa Jayloni
Eloisa started performing on the streets of Taguig, sharing her passion for music with anyone who passed her by. That passion was eventually noticed, which led her to become one of the participants on the 6th Batch of the Elements Camp. She’s already released several songs over the years, but Eloisa still enjoys busking in BGC.
