Sarah Geronimo has finally put an end to the rumors that she will be performing in the Miss Universe pageant, which is set to take place on January 30 at the Mall Of Asia Arena.
In an interview at the story conference of her upcoming movie with John Lloyd Cruz, Dear Future Husband, held on Thursday, January 12, the Popstar Princess told the reporters she will not be performing in the prestigious pageant.
Asked if she will accept it if she will be given a chance to sing on the historic event, Sarah said: "Siyempre [kung sakali], isa po 'yong karangalan." (Of course, that would be an honor.)
Speculations came after Department of Tourism Undersecretary Kat de Castro said, in an interview, that she heard Sarah Geronimo, along with her former fellow The Voice coaches Lea Salonga and Bamboo, and singer Jed Madela will perform at the 65th Miss Universe.
It was the Broadway Diva who first denied the rumors.
Meanwhile, Sarah, though she did not gave much details, revealed that she's recording for a new album.
