Fast-rising new pop music superstar Belle Mariano is all set to drop a new album this 2023, her record label Star Pop teased January 17. It is the much-awaited follow-up to her debut album Daylight, which garnered over 33 million streams on Spotify and a whole lot more views on YouTube.
Belle’s planning and preparation for the upcoming second album was seen in a succession of tweets from Roxy Liguigan, media insider of the highest degree and head of ABS-CBN Music.
“Hello, Belle,” Liquigan posted with a a screenshot of a Zoom meeting that includes Mariano with several creatives that include multi-awarded and critically-acclaimed songwriter-producer “Mr. Music” Jonathan Manalo and Daylight producer and certified hitmaker Rox Santos, who are involved in the album.
“Grabe, so excited for Belle. Ang ganda ng vision niya for her new album. Abangan!” Liquigan added on his follow-up tweet, with the hashtag #AllOutForBelle2023.

Star Pop also shared their excitement on their official social media pages.
Mariano’s next album will be her sophomore effort following Daylight, which was released in December 2021. It was also the same title of her first solo digital concert held January 2022. Daylight spawned hits such as “Sigurado”, “Tanging Dahilan”, and "Rise". After that she’s also released other hit singles such as “Kahit Na Kahit Pa” and “Closer”. She also co-headlined the wildly-successful He's Into Her season 2 concert at the Araneta Coliseum in 2022.
Known primarily as a romcom actress after the monumental success of He’s Into Her with her Donbelle half Donny Pangilinan, Mariano also made a very strong impression in her debut year as a recording artist. What’s also impressive is that she managed to be recognized on her merits as a singer and transcend her artista roots. Last year she clinched two awards at the Awit Awards for Breakthrough Artist and Favorite Song for "Sigurado".
