Swedish heavy rock band Self Deception proudly presents the release of their new song entitled “Stockholm Hearts”. The song showcases the bands capability to push limits and withholding their own musical style and integrity, while manifesting a deep and personal songwriting. “Stockholm Hearts” speaks about the troublesome relationship the band has with their hometown Stockholm, shadowed by both misery and euphoria, recalling their own experiences growing up in the city.
The release of the song is accompanied by a beautifully unique music video, directed by Ted Lindén who previously has worked with Hank Von Hell, Jill Jonsson, Mustach, Peter Jöback and Steve - O (Jackass). The video stars actor and Royal Dramatic Theatre alumni Thorsten Flinck.
“To be granted the opportunity to work with such an iconic character as Thorsten Flinck was the finishing touch to the song. We truly believe his uniqueness represents this song, especially with his strong connection to the capital,” the band says.
