The Chainsmokers never failed their Filipino fans with their groundbreaking set Wednesday night (September 13) at the Mall of Asia Arena.
As part of the Asian tour for their album, Memories Do Not Open, the electronic music duo composed of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall dropped their beats for the third time in Manila.
Compared to last year, The Chainsmokers was able to play more original songs including "Paris," "All We Know," "The One," "Honest," and their collab with the band Coldplay, "Something Just Like This" -- all included in the said album.
Their set lasted for about an hour and a half. In the middle of it, Taggart admitted to the crowd that the Philippines has played a big part in their career as this is the country that they are most famous in Asia.
"We will keep on coming back," he said.
The night would not also be complete without them playing old hits including "Until You Were Gone," "Roses," "Closer," and "Don't Let Me Down."
