It's been one week since Part 2 of One Music LIVE Imprint, yet we've still some of the performances stuck in our heads.
After the first part of our special LIVE session with DNA artists, we made a call out to aspiring artists who wanted to share their music through an Open Mic, and we had the pleasure to hear the musical talents of a fairly new band called Tuesday Is August.
After a fun pre-show, the main even was opened with HULO, who came all the way from Puerto Galera. The trip was well worth it, as they brought new life to some Pinoy favorites such as Moira Dela Torre's "Tagpuan" and "Malaya," as well as VST & Company's "Rock Baby Rock."
After an upbeat opening, Sinqo brought back the sound of the 90's as they performed covers of Sugarfree's "Makita Kang Muli" and AfterImage's "Next In Line."
After that nostalgia trip, one of the night's biggest surprises came from YouTube sensation, Justin Vasquez, who rose to fame after competing on the sixth season of The X Factor Australia. He shared wonderful acoustic covers of songs by fellow Youtuber AJ Rafael such as "She Was Mine" and "We Could Happen" as well as Nina's "Someday" and "Neyo's "So Sick." But probably one of our favorite performances from the aspiring musician was his original song titled "Love."
After taking it easy, Argo woke up the crowd anew with their upbeat set. They put their own spin on G2B Boys' "Ikaw Na Na Na" and "Hiling" by Jay-R Siaboc.
We were further woken up by the boys from Mandaluyong, Solabros.com, who made a lasting impression with their original track "Bahala Na Si Batman." But one of their most memorable performances was their passionate cover of classic Pinoy rock ballad "Mahal Pa Rin Kita" by Rockstar.
We may know him as our kaladkarin Wander Jam host, but Migz Haleco was in his element as he took the stage. He brought the kilig factor with his original "Walang Alinlangan" and showed off his amazing guitar skills with a cover "Gravity" by John Mayer.
The wrap up the evening, we welcomed Davey Langit back to the LIVE sessions stage, and we wouldn't have had it any other way. He performed a few original songs like "Breaksary" and "Gitna" and left us with some feels with his cover of Yeng Constantino's "Cool Off."
We hope you enjoyed this throwback as much as we did! If you want to see more of these DNA artists' performances from One Music LIVE Imprint, subscribe to the One Music PH official YouTube channel!
