On July 3, Billboard officially announced that her first solo mini-album IM NAYEON debuted at No. 7 on its renowned Top 200 Albums charts, its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the US.
That makes NAYEON the first kpop solo artist in history to crack the top 10 of the Billboard 200, though her group TWICE is the first—and so far, only—kpop girl group to have two albums make the top 10.
IM NAYEON was also the best-selling album of the week in the United States on the week ending July 9, according to Billboard.
Luminate reported that the album garnered a total of 57,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on June 30. The total score consisted of 52,000 traditional album sales and 4,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units—which translates to 6.56 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.
Lead single "POP!" is currently #2 Trending for Music on YouTube, with over 56.5 million views in less than 10 days.
