"Bakit Apollo? Kasi alam naman natin na Roman God, 'di ba? Pero ano nga ba siya? He's the god of sunlight, prophecy, music, and poetry. That's it baby..." Those words came from Daniel Padilla when he was asked of Apollo -  A Daniel Padilla Digital Experience, his digital concert held October 11, 2020.

And boy, oh boy, did Daniel Padilla brought some sunlight to his fans on a Sunday evening. He regaled his virtual crowd with a combination of classics from new wave/80's alternative pop figureheads (opener "Head Over Heels" and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears, "Melt with You" by Modern English, closing song "One" by U2, among others) to Pinoy alternative hits ("Abot Kamay" by Orange & Lemons, "Antukin" by Rico Blanco, "'Di Mo Lang Alam" by Indio I, "Kailan" by Eraserheads, among others), to standards ("Love" by Michael Buble, "Moon River") down to his most recent hit song "Mabagal" and more in between. Daniel even brought in his bass guitar, his brother and former bandmates in Jose Carlito to do the latter's "Blangkong Imahe" and "Big White Wall" and a roaring cover of The Killers' "Mr. Brightside". Ian Veneracion also came with his acoustic guitar and jammed with DJ.

It was a tour de force performance from top to bottom for Daniel as he proved himself to be a legitimate performer and singer. Indeed, those who witnessed that concert were #OverTheMoonWithDJP.
