Ylona Garcia has finally dropped her newest single called "Spilt Milk."
The track, featuring Australian artist Billy Davis, is now out on major digital music platforms.
Ylona, still dubbed as the Next Teen Superstar in the Philippines, explained why did she choose "Spilt Milk" as the song's title.
"The phrase 'no use crying over spilt milk' is an expression of regret over something that has already happened and cannot be changed -- 'yes , the mistake has been made but there's no point in crying over SPILT MILK,'" she shared.
Ylona explained: "I chose 'Spilt Milk' as the title for this song that I wrote, purely because it sums up the entirety of this piece. To apply this idiom to my life, it suggests that all the unfortunate experiences I had to endure in which I have expressed in this song should not be shed tears for."
"Like I've said in many interviews, I MUST - ACKNOWLEDGE the pain, ACCEPT the pain, GROW/EVOLVE from the pain and because I'm a songwriter I shall use the painful memories and turn it into something PRODUCTIVE," Ylona said.
